The Co-Directors
The Center for Spiritual Development in Childhood and Adolescence is led by Peter L. Benson, Ph.D., Search Institute’s president and an internationally recognized scholar in child and adolescent development, including a lifelong career in examining spiritual development.
Co-director Eugene C. Roehlkepartain has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communication and field-building work related to youth development and spiritual development. They work with a team of social scientists and communicators to launch this interdisciplinary Center.
